JOYCE SMITHERS, CRS, e-PRO, GRI, RECS,  is a Broker  offering over 20 years of experience in the Hidalgo County real estate market. As a hard-working and dedicated real estate professional, Joyce brings a wealth of experience to her career that serves her clients well. She is known for her dynamic marketing plan provided to her sellers and her ability to find the "right" property for the buyers she represents. Joyce graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Dedicated to professionalism in the industry, Joyce is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Texas Association of REALTORS® and the Greater McAllen Association of REALTORS®. She has also continued her professional development by obtaining the coveted Certified Residential Specialist (CRS),Technology Certification Program (e-PRO), graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designations Demonstrating her commitment to the real estate profession, Joyce has served the Greater McAllen Association REALTORS® of  as  a past  Board Member, as the United Way liaison, as MLS Picnic Chairperson for two years,  and as a member of the Aaffiliate Membership & MLS committees.

She is past President of the Valley Newcomer Club and currently serves on the Financial Committee of the First United Methodist Church of McAllen.
She had been a member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity for four years serving as Secretary for three years and also as Vice-President. 

On a personal note, she and her husband, Don, have two children and seven grandchildren.
